TalkSPORT Super Computer predicts Leeds end of season finish

By Harvey Byrne

A ‘Super Computer’ tasked with the job of predicting the final Championship league standings has placed Leeds in fourth place.

Popular radio station TalkSPORT have issued an April update on their regular feature which sees them feed data into their prediction machine in an attempt to find out how England’s second tier will finish.

Now, the computer has tipped the Yorkshire giants to achieve a fourth place finish in this season’s Championship, which is one position higher than their current fifth placing with just five matches of the season to go.

Garry Monk’s team still has difficult encounters against Newcastle and Norwich coming up before the season’s end.

However, they will also face bottom half trio Wolves, Burton and Wigan in their final run of fixtures.

A fourth placed finish for the Leeds team will also mark their highest finish for the famous club since they finished 19th in the Premier in 2004.

Many are keen to see the prestigious club end their 13-year wait for top-flight football and with just five points separating them from seventh they still have a battle on their hands to finish in the Championship’s top six.

In other Leeds news, Ben Parker believes this 24-year-old is making a great case for a starting role in the Whites’ team.
