Terms agreed: Tottenham believe they will complete deal for Ligue 1 flyer before weekend - report

Tottenham believe they will complete their deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier before the weekend, according to a report.
Former senior Sky Sports reporter Graeme Bailey has wrote for the Gambling Times that the 24-year-old right sided flyer has already agreed to the terms of a five-year deal with Spurs, leaving a deal close to completion.
It is also detailed that the north Londoners are confident that their bid to land the Ivory Coast international will be completed before Sunday’s Wembley clash against Burnley, meaning Mauricio Pochettino’s side could line-up with a new face in their team.
Aurier was considered a fine talent at PSG after signing from Toulouse in the summer of 2014 and he has helped the club to two Ligue 1 titles alongside playing 81 times for the French giants.
However, he has not played for PSG at all this season and with two years left on his contract alongside previous controversial moments his future is now looking likely to lie in Tottenham.

Football Insider verdict:
Aurier could go either way for Tottenham. There is no doubt that the full-back is talented, but he has also had some questionable off field moments, which included an altercation with previous manager Laurent Blanc. Mauricio Pochettino will not stand for the same at Spurs and that was seen when he dropped Kyle Walker from his side for a number of big games at the end of the last season. Therefore, while this move can prove to be a good one there is also an element of risk once more in Spurs’ potential signing.
