Newcastle United are set to face a Manchester United side containing long term injury layoffs Paul Pogba and Marcus Rojo when they travel to Old Trafford on Saturday, according to a top journalist.
Miguel Delaney, the Independent’s chief football writer, claims on his personal Twitter account that Jose Mourinho is to make the shock decision to include the duo among his starting XI, despite both having a lack of game time under their belts in recent weeks.
Told that Pogba and Rojo likely to go straight back into the United staring line-up tomorrow, Mkhitaryan dropped, Lingard to come in.

Defender Rojo has not played for the senior side at United since suffering cruciate ligament damage in the club’s Europa League clash against Anderlecht, while midfield star Pogba has been out of action with a thigh injury for the past 12 weeks.
Delaney also claims that attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to be axed from the first team line up against the Magpies, having started all but one of the club’s league matches this season, with Jesse Lingard, who has a solitary under his belt, set to take his place.
The Red Devils are currently sitting in second place in the top flight table, but are already eight points adrift of league leaders and local rivals Manchester City.
They host a Newcastle side who find themselves in 11th following their return to the top flight, with two successive 1-0 defeats to their name prior to Saturday’s clash.
