Tottenham 'already in talks' to sign Vlahovic after major development - pundit
Frank McAvennie claims transfer talks may already be underway between Dusan Vlahovic and Tottenham.
The former West Ham hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to the latest on Vlahovic.
On 5 October, Fiorentina released a statement confirming the striker, 21, would not sign a new contract with the club.
His current deal will expire in the summer of 2023.
Alasdair Gold reported on August 3rd that Spurs are interested in signing Vlahovic if they can raise sufficient funds.
Vlahovic scored 21 goals in 37 Serie A appearances and was reportedly chased by numerous clubs through the summer.

McAvennie claims talks over a transfer may have already started if Tottenham are serious about signing Vlahovic.
“They need another striker in,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I look at what’s happened and when a player wants to move, they tend to move.
“Unless you are Harry Kane. They have needed a new striker for years and this guy sounds talented.
“Tottenham won’t be the only ones interested and they aren’t the most attractive club right now.
“If he is a target I’m sure they will already be talking to the agent about a move.
“They will want that done.”
Harry Kane remains Tottenham’s only senior striker after the club chose to pass on signing Carlos Vinicius permanently.
The England captain has failed to score in the Premier League this season but has found the net in the EFL Cup and Europa Conference League.
