Tottenham face Chelsea without four 'pivotal' players after 'really bad' Nuno update - pundit
Noel Whelan claims Tottenham face an extra hard game against Chelsea this weekend after a double injury blow on Thursday.
The former Leeds hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to the latest Spurs injury news.
Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn both picked up knocks against Rennes on Thursday night,
They join Heung-Min Son on the injury table with Japhet Tanganga also missing this weekend’s game through suspension.
Speaking about the injuries after the game Nuno Espirito Santo is quoted by Eurosport as saying Moura’s injury “feels really bad”.
The attacking duo have been ever-present for Tottenham so far this season.

Whelan insists Spurs will struggle to create against Chelsea due to this attacking injury crisis.
“They also have Tanganga out as well,” Whelan told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They probably have four really important players missing for that Chelsea game.
“These are four pivotal players you look at in games, players who can give you that creative spark and win you games.
“It’s not a great time for Tottenham at the minute when you looking into that final third.
“Where is the creativity? They did struggle against Rennes and it will be a lot harder against Chelsea.
“They will have to get everything right and having those players missing will be double hard for Tottenham.”
Tottenham struggled to a 2-2 draw with Rennes in their opening UEFA Conference League group game.
They face Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday looking to get back to winning ways after last weekend’s loss to Crystal Palace.
