Tottenham fans destroy £30m Arsenal player after defeat against Liverpool

Arsenal were beaten 3-1 at Liverpool on Saturday evening in the Premier League – and Tottenham fans on Twitter have destroyed Granit Xhaka for his performance.
The 24-year-old started the game for the visitors and produced a lackluster display with the Reds attacking trio of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho, and Sadio Mane tearing him to shreds.
Xhaka moved to the Emirates from German giants Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer with the Gunners paying a fee of £30million for his services.
However, he has had a tough time since moving to England, getting sent off on numerous occasions which has seen him fail to find consistency and regular game time in the team.
Spurs fans on Twitter couldn’t help but laugh at the fact that their rivals paid a big fee for a player that has not impressed since moving to the club.
They compared him to powerhouse Victor Wanyama who moved to White Hart Lane from St Mary’s in the summer for a considerably less fee of £11million.
Wanyama has been a key and regular figure for a Spurs side currently sitting in second and three points ahead of their north London neighbours with a game in hand.
The White Hart Lane faithful laughed at their rival supporters for thinking Xhaka was a better player than Wanyama.
While others just enjoyed Arsenal losing yet another game with their team due to play Everton in a mouth-watering tie on Sunday afternoon.
