Tottenham fans react to Arsenal Twitter message

Tottenham fans have applauded rivals Arsenal on Twitter after the Gunners account sent their best wishes to coach Ugo Ehiogu.
Spurs announced on their official Twitter account that the 44-year-old Under-23s coach had been taken to hospital after collapsing at the club’s training ground.

Many were quick to wish the former England international a fast recovery and of those included Arsenal, who put the north London rivalry behind them and offered their support via their own official Twitter account.
All of us at Arsenal hope Ugo makes a full recovery – our thoughts are with him and his family

This act of kindness understandably caught the attention of a lot of Tottenham fans on social media and they were keen to show their gratitude in return.
Many were keen to post “respect” in the direction of the Gunners, while others simply shared the applauding hands emoji.

Ehiogu had a fine player career which saw him turn out for some of Britain’s most reputable clubs, including Leeds, Aston Villa and Rangers.
He will now be hoping to make a return to the training ground soon and everyone is wishing he makes a full comeback.
