Winks has been somewhat of a revelation in the centre of the park for Spurs this season, finding himself handed more game time than he may have expected in the midst of a midfield injury crisis.
With Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama both out of action, Winks has usurped French international Moussa Sissoko to break into the first team line up, with seven appearances, three of which came as starts, under his belt this season.
It comes after a serious injury layoff which saw him go six months between starts, and has made 43 appearances so far, scoring once.
In other Tottenham news, the club are one of a host of sides named in the hunt for the PL contract rebel.
