'Not a hope in hell' - Tottenham fans react to reported interest in Serie A ace
By Matt Bullin
Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react to the reports linking them to Juventus right-back Dani Alves.
The reactions have been mixed as some supporters believe he would be a good signing, some say Daniel Levy would not sign a 34-year-old and others refuse to believe the rumour at all.
This comes after Yahoo UK claimed Spurs have held initial talks with the player over a potential summer move.
Alves, 34, has been in fine form for Juventus this term following his summer move from Barcelona and has been a mainstay in their back line, making 31 appearances in all competitions.
He has shone in the Champions League in particular, providing four assists and scoring three goals in 11 games.

The 100-time Brazil international made the move to the Italian giants on a free after spending eight years at Barcelona and making nearly 400 appearances in all competitions.
The right-back has already helped Juventus win the Coppa Italia this term and is eyeing a Serie A title and another Champions League win.
He already boasts a glittering CV and while at the Catalan giants he won La Liga six times, the Copa del Rey four times and the Champions League on three occasions.
Tottenham fans have reacted with contrasting emotions to the reports linking them with the Brazilian.

I can understand interest though. 34 but can still run all day. At point where a young team needs to believe "yes we can".

Not a hope in hell. No way Levy signs players of that age now, for any fee – especially inflated ones. Move on.

If true exactly the kind of player we should be targeting, a player that has won a huge amount of trophies and years of experience in Europe
