'Not a hope in hell' - Tottenham fans react to reported interest in Serie A ace

By Matt Bullin

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react to the reports linking them to Juventus right-back Dani Alves.

The reactions have been mixed as some supporters believe he would be a good signing, some say Daniel Levy would not sign a 34-year-old and others refuse to believe the rumour at all.

This comes after Yahoo UK claimed Spurs have held initial talks with the player over a potential summer move.

Alves, 34, has been in fine form for Juventus this term following his summer move from Barcelona and has been a mainstay in their back line, making 31 appearances in all competitions.

He has shone in the Champions League in particular, providing four assists and scoring three goals in 11 games.
