Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Sissoko display v Swansea
By Harvey Byrne
Attacker Moussa Sissoko played 61 minutes of Tottenham’s late win against Swansea on Wednesday evening – and Spurs fans on Twitter were far from pleased with his display.
The north London club battled to victory at the Liberty Stadium with a goal from former wide player Wayne Routledge being cancelled out by late strikes from Dele Alli, Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen in the 3-1 win.
Mauricio Pochettino had to field a team without Hugo Lloris, Danny Rose, Victor Wanyama and star Harry Kane for various reasons.
The match presented the perfect opportunity for fringe players like Sissoko to impress and try and stake a claim for more first team football.
However, many fans on social media were highly critical of his performance with many believing the £30million summer signing struggled once more in a Tottenham shirt.

One fan shared that the former Newcastle man needs to leave the club, while another labelled Sissoko a “liability”.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Davies isn't awful but a liability at times including today. Sissoko needs to go. But slating Dier is completely unacceptable

Not a chance, its a shambles. Should have stuck with the formation we know and love. Winner cant be more of a liability than sissoko surely!

Time for GKN & Vincent to do something, I'll be surprised if we ever see Sissoko in a Spurs shirt again, absolutely abysmal.

Sissoko has played 28 times for Tottenham in all competitions this season since moving from Newcastle in the summer.
But, he has so far returned just four assists and if his displays don’t dramatically improve soon he could find himself headed towards the Spurs exit doors.
In other Tottenham news, Mauricio Pochettino revealed why this Spurs key man was missing from the Swans clash ahead of the match.
