Tottenham fans react to Vincent Janssen Twitter post ahead of Arsenal clash

By Harvey Byrne

Tottenham fans have urged striker Vincent Janssen to make himself a hero after the forward shared a message to fans looking ahead to Sunday’s north London derby against Arsenal.

Spurs are currently preparing themselves for a vital clash at White Hart Lane where they will take on the Gunners in the 4.30pm kick off.

There is a lot on the line for both sides with pride and bragging rights also up for grabs and the two teams will be doing their all to pick up the three points later in the afternoon.

Now, it is likely that Janssen himself will be starting from the bench with star forward Harry Kane leading the line, but before the match he posted “matchday” alongside an image on his personal Twitter account.

This naturally brought a reaction from the Tottenham fans on social media, who were all keen to post their support for their own player.

Many were eager to predict the Holland international to bag a goal against Arsenal, while others posted “this is the moment.”

Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Janssen has scored just two goals in 24 Premier League appearances for Tottenham since his summer move from AZ Alkmaar.

However, a goal in the last north London derby at White Hart Lane will go down in the record books and he will have hopes of making a name for himself on Sunday.
