Tottenham have received a huge boost ahead of their FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea, as Chelsea duo Thibaut Courtois and Marcus Alonso look set to miss out on the Wembley showdown, according to a report.

The Mirror reports that both players are unlikely to make the huge match on Saturday.

Courtois missed Chelsea's 2-0 defeat to Man United on Sunday after picking up an injury taking part in a basketball promotion for the club.

Alonso played no part in the match after reporting in with an illness earlier in the day.

Chelsea lost the game to Man United 2-0 and both players were missed as Conte was forced to make changes to his starting XI.

In contrast, Spurs have just welcomed back top scorer and star man Harry Kane after a lay-off.

They are also in stunning form after winning their last eight games in a row. That run includes seven Premier League games in a row that has seen them cut Chelsea's lead at the top of the table to just four points.

A win against Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday could give them a huge psychological edge going into the last few games in the Premier League.
