Tottenham are plotting a move to sign Leeds United sensation Archie Gray this summer, sources have told Football Insider

The Premier League side want to bring in a new right-back to provide cover and competition for first choice Pedro Porro, 24.

Sources say the north London club have a “concrete” interest in signing Gray, 18, after he made a huge impression on their scouts during his 52 appearances in his breakout season at Elland Road.

The England U-21 international is under contract in West Yorkshire until 2028 after signing a new long-term deal in January.

Tottenham could make move to sign Archie Gray

Tottenham have been keeping tabs on Gray for the past few months after Football Insider first revealed in March they had joined the race to land a deal for the teenager

After showing his capabilities at both right-back and in midfield since breaking into the Leeds first team, multiple top clubs are believed to be chasing his signature this summer.

Leeds are susceptible to offers for the likes of Gray as they need to sell players to help balance the books and avoid committing any profit and sustainability (PSR) breaches.

Tottenham are plotting a move to sign the teen as a potential replacement for Royal after Ange Postecoglou has deemed him surplus to requirements.
