Djed Spence looks to be on his way out of Tottenham as top UK bookmakers slash the odds on him joining Inter Milan this summer.

Spence's future has been the subject of real speculation this summer after he impressed at the World Cup with England.

He proved why he was picked by Thomas Tuchel with several strong performances, after his inclusion in the squad took many by surprise.

He has been linked away from Tottenham over the last few months after struggling for regular starts towards the end of the last campaign under Roberto De Zerbi.

Spurs have also signed Andy Robertson to play at left-back, while Pedro Porro is clearly first choice in Spence's preferred right-back position.

The 25-year-old has been closely linked with a move abroad, and Serie A giants Inter have emerged as the favourites to land his services before the end of the transfer window.

Inter Milan now 2/1 odds to be Djed Spence's next club

Spence still featured 44 times for Spurs throughout last season, and played a part in all eight of England's games in North America.

He is yet to return to Tottenham's pre-season squad after being given an extended break due to his World Cup exploits.

Rumours around his future have been rife, with sources exclusively revealing to Football Insider that Man United are weighing up a move for Spence after Carrick was impressed by his international performances.

Inter have been linked with a move too, and he has previous experience of the Italian game after spending time on loan at Genoa in 2023-24.

Two of the biggest UK bookmakers have slashed their odds to 2/1 to land his services this summer, indicating that a move may well be close to completion.

What has De Zerbi said about Spence's Spurs future?

Everton have also been named in the race for Spence's signature this summer, but they sit behind United (5/1) and Inter in the odds to sign him as it stands, at 7/1.

Tottenham are reportedly set to demand around £40million to part ways with the 25-year-old, but De Zerbi has placed the ball firmly in his court around a move away.

Speaking to reporters about his future last week, he said: "I repeat what I said to Djed, and to Lucas (Bergvall): 'I would like you to stay if you want to stay. If you don't want to stay, if you want to leave, then you have to leave.'"
