Ex-refs chief 'bemused' by Thomas Bramall decision in Fulham vs Tottenham
Thomas Bramall was in the perfect position to rule out one of Fulham's goals against Tottenham at Craven Cottage.
That is according to former PGMOL chief and ex-FIFA referee, Keith Hackett, who exclusively told Football Insider that Raul Jimenez should have been punished for a clear push Radu Dragusin on Sunday, 1 March.
Igor Tudor is already under tremendous pressure in North London, losing each of his first two games, and the Lilywhite sitting just four points above the relegation zone with 10 games to play.
Marco Silva's side, on the other hand, moved up to ninth in the Premier League table with all three points aganst Tottenham, thanks to first-half goals from Harry Wilson and Alex Iwobi.

Spurs were also left frustrated from the North London derby after Randal Kolo Muani saw a goal ruled out for a supposed push on Gabriel Magalhaes. The Arsenal defender made the most of the contact.
However, at Craven Cottage, a huge push from Jimenez on Dragusin in the build-up to Fulham's owner was unpunished, putting the PGMOL and their officials under massive scrutiny.
Even after a VAR review, the goal was allowed to stand, and understandably, the travelling fans, as well as those in the dugout, were absolutely furious with the decision.
Watching the footage once again, Hackett was baffled at how Bramall allowed the goal to stand before a VAR review confirmed the onfield decision, just days after Spurs' ruled out goal against the Gunners.

Thomas Bramall 'ideally positioned' to disallow Fulham goal
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former referee said: “Thomas Bramall is ideally positioned to judge this incident. Therefore, I’m bemused that he didn’t award a free-kick for this push.
"A push is a push, and while there are different strengths, it’s what the law states. A referee of his quality doesn’t see that as a push? What advice has he received from the PGMOL management not to give a free-kick there?
“The bar is somehow being raised for pushing incidents. All that leads to is confusion. PGMOL referees need to sit together in a room to discuss handball and pushing.”
