Dominic Solanke’s long-term future at Tottenham Hotspur once again appears to be in doubt heading into the summer transfer window.

The 28-year-old striker has found little success since his move to Spurs in 2024, and has only netted 22 times in all competitions for the club.

Now, with Tottenham at high-risk of a shock drop into the Championship, this has only heightened speculation about a potential departure.

As a result, a potential replacement in needed, and Spurs have a golden chance to bring Troy Parrott back to the club.

The 24-year-old is one of the most in-form strikers in Europe, and could play a part in a massive Tottenham rebuild in the summer.

Troy Parrott open to Tottenham summer return

According to football.london on 20 April, Parrott is open to a Tottenham return no matter the division they find themselves in next season.

The Republic of Ireland international is wanted by multiple clubs in the summer window, including Napoli, Real Betis, Bayer Leverkusen and Ajax.

However, Parrott is keen to show what he can do in a Tottenham shirt, after previously failing to break into the first team before he was sold in 2024.

The AZ striker has netted 30 goals in all competitions this season, and picked up an goal and an assist on Sunday as he won the KNVB Cup final in a 5-1 victory over NEC Nijmegen.

Parrott also earned fame for his form with the Republic of Ireland this season, as he carried them into the 2026 World Cup playoffs, before they were knocked out by the Czech Republic.

As a result, it is clear that if Spurs opt to bring the 24-year-old back to the club, he will be expected to be a starter.

Therefore, Solanke could soon find himself booted out of the lineup, and with the England international already linked with a departure, it appears to have taken another step closer to becoming a reality.

How much will Tottenham demand for Solanke?

Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Tottenham will demand £50million to part with Solanke in the summer.

Spurs are reluctant to let him leave, but understand their hand could be forced if they are sent down into the Championship.

While his recent call-up to the England squad has boosted his price tag, the club would still be making a £15m loss on what they brought him for two years ago.

Newcastle United have recently shown interest ahead of the summer window. However, it remains to be seen if a deal will come about.
