Richarlison is 'finished' at Tottenham after 'bust-up'

Richarlison is edging closer to a move away from Tottenham Hotspur following a disagreement with Roberto De Zerbi.

The 29-year-old appears to have played his last game for Spurs after De Zerbi revealed he "doesn't want to be here" and has no intention of including him in a matchday squad.

The Brazil international had a number of suitors in the Premier League and missed out on a late move to Turkey, but Saudi Pro League clubs are now tracking his situation.

Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Richarlison has no future in North London and is expected to agree a move away within weeks.

The Saudi Pro League transfer deadline falls on 6 October, giving the striker the opportunity to complete a move away, with big wages expected to be on offer.

Alternatively, Richarlison could find himself in the stands at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium if he fails to land a move away, having already snubbed an offer from Everton.

Where is Richarlison's most likely destination?

Football Insider revealed on 5 September that Richarlison was keen to join Trabzonspor, but following the close of the Turkish transfer window, has suitors in Saudi Arabia.

Advanced talks had been held between the Brazil international and the Turkish club, but no agreement was reached with Spurs before the deadline arrived.

A move to the Saudi Pro League is now likely the final option for Richarlison, who is determined to secure a move away sooner rather than later.

"I don't think there's any way back for Richarlison at Tottenham now," Brown told Football Insider.

"He's had this bust-up with the manager, it doesn't look like he's going to be part of the plans, so he has a decision to make.

"Either he leaves Tottenham and goes to Saudi Arabia, or he sits in the stands until January when he can try and get a move to Turkey or somewhere else where they might be interested.

"He'll be on big money in Saudi Arabia, so I expect he will agree to move there, and Tottenham obviously want to make some money from selling him as well.

"It should be pretty straightforward now, he's not wanted at Tottenham, he doesn't want to be there either, so a move to Saudi Arabia is the only real option at this stage."

Why did Richarlison's return to Everton collapse?

Richarlison's expected move to the Saudi Pro League has come just weeks after he decided to snub a return to Everton, who had agreed a deal with Tottenham to bring him back.

However, he rejected a return to Merseyside in dramatic fashion, with an explose social media post detailing how he would not be forced into a move he didn't want to make.

Football Insider revealed on 6 September that Richarlison chose to snub Everton because he was unhappy with the wages on offer compared to interested clubs elsewhere.

Everton were unable to convince him to rejoin this summer, despite speculation having linked the striker with a move back to Merseyside in recent years.

However, his move to Trabzonspor also fell through, and it will now be up to Saudi Pro League clubs to match his lofty wage demands when others couldn't.
