Sources: Borussia Dortmund and duo turn attention to Mikey Moore after Tottenham decision
Borussia Dortmund are among three clubs interested in a loan move for Tottenham Hotspur youngster Mikey Moore this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The German giants, who wanted to sign the 18-year-old before he committed to professional terms with Spurs, remain keen on him, while FC Koln are monitoring his situation.
PSV Eindhoven are also interested in a move for the winger, but want to add an option to buy into the deal.
Football Insider revealed this week that Tottenham have told Moore that he will be loaned out again next season as is first-team opportunities will be limited.
The teenager spent the 2025-26 season with Rangers and has spoken of his willingness to return to Ibrox, but it remains to be seen whether they make a move.
New manager Derek McInnes will have his say on that decision, after Danny Rohl left to join RB Salzburg.
Tottenham cannot allow permanent Mikey Moore sale
Moore made his breakthrough for Tottenham in 2024, making his first Premier League appearances at the end of the 2023-24 season.
Under Ange Postecoglou, the winger began to play more of a role and scored his first goal for the club against Elfsborg in the Europa League last year.
His first regular taste of senior football came at Rangers, however, and although it was initially a struggle, the winger began to thrive in the second half of the season.
Under Rohl, Moore became a regular starter and a regular contributor, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in the Scottish Premiership.
And a return there may be beneficiary, not least because the Gers are unlikely to seek a permanent option in the deal.
Tottenham have made mistakes in selling the likes of Troy Parrott, but they will not make the same mistake with Moore.
Where will Moore end up?
The Bundesliga has become a popular home for young English talents in recent years.
The likes of Jude and Jobe Bellingham, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Jadon Sancho have all spent time in Germany, and re-emerged as better players.
Tottenham may eye the same plan for Moore, and Dortmund could well be the ideal home for his development.
As with any loan, however, the Lilywhites must be careful not to find themselves in a position in which the player is inspired to leave permanently next summer.
