Sources: Tottenham make Mikey Moore transfer decision as more signings planned
Tottenham Hotspur have told Mikey Moore that he will be loaned out again next season, sources have told Football Insider.
Moore, 18, has been informed by the club that there is currently no pathway to regular football for him at Spurs, with attacking signings planned for this summer.
Sources say clubs from the German Bundesliga and Dutch Eredivisie have registered their interest in the winger, who spent last season on loan with Rangers.
The Gers had been interested in signing Moore for a second year on loan while Danny Rohl was in charge, and it is expected that Derek McInnes' arrival will not end that interest.
Tottenham have already spent upwards of £200million this summer on Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, with Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson also arriving on free transfers.
And there is no end in sight for that spending yet, with the likes of Eli Junior Kroupi reportedly eyed for moves in the front line.
Mikey Moore to continue development away from Tottenham
Tottenham will be well aware that risks do come with sending young players on continuous loans.
Luka Vuskovic, for example, never made a competitive appearance for the Lilywhites, joining for £12m in 2023 and spending three seasons on loan.
The Croatia international may have played a part next season but had already made his mind up on a summer exit, and has been sold to Brighton in a deal worth up to £50m.
Tottenham will hope that a similar theme does not continue with Moore, who is a boyhood fan of the North London club.
The 18-year-old initially struggled under Russell Martin at Ibrox, but found his way under Rohl and ended the season with seven goals and three assists in the Scottish Premiership.
What has Moore said about a return to Rangers?
Tottenham will be keen to give Moore a new challenge next season, with the Bundesliga and Eredivisie both providing different tests.
A return to Rangers may well be the player's preference, however, and it would bring no question over playing time.
Speaking in March about a potential return to Ibrox this summer, Moore said: "I'm just going to enjoy the next seven games and obviously I need to speak to people back home and you never know what can happen.
"I don't know if there's been much club-to-club contact yet but I know that people spoke to me and the people around me, so conversations are happening.
"I'm going to speak to people and just try and find the best solution for me. But this has been unbelievable and if it's right for me next year, then I'd love to stay here, but we have to see what's going on."
