Guglielmo Vicario fee revealed as Tottenham agree deal with Juventus
Juventus have agreed a deal to sign Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario on an initial loan deal, sources have told Football Insider.
The Lilywhites have been working to offload the Italian since the start of the summer, and have now accepted an offer from Juventus, with the deal set to go through imminently.
Vicario will move to the Serie A giants on an initial season-long loan, but the Old Lady also have the option to buy him at the end of the season.
Sources have indicated that Spurs have set the purchase option at the £8million mark, with the player now into the final two years of his contract.
The 29-year-old fell firmly out of favour in North London in the latter stages of 2025-26, and Roberto De Zerbi has already moved on from him.
Vicario's move to Juventus is now imminent, as Tottenham appear to have found their solution for the out-of-favour man.
Tottenham already have Guglielmo Vicario replacement
De Zerbi's desire to move Vicario out of the building has been clear for months, to the point where his replacement has already come through the door.
The Lilywhites signed Martin Dubravka on a free transfer earlier in the window, with the experienced Slovakian stopper joining on a free transfer.
De Zerbi has already decided that Antonin Kinsky will be Spurs' new number one, with the boss already placing his faith in the 23-year-old.
Kinsky endured a difficult stint between the posts in the latter stages of last season, but has the full support of the coaching staff moving into the new campaign.
Vicario's exit is now on the verge of being sealed, as Tottenham are set to clear him from their wage bill for 2026-27, with the potential for a transfer fee to follow next summer.
Liverpool star is a 'top target' for Tottenham
Football Insider revealed last weekend that Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo is now the "top target" for Tottenham before the end of the window.
The Lilywhites are continuing to chase a deal for the Dutchman, but they have been met with strong resistance from their Premier League rivals so far.
Sources have indicated that Spurs intend to keep spending big right until the deadline, and recently cashed in on both Djed Spence and Cristian Romero.
Liverpool have been unwavering in their stance regarding Gakpo so far, but Tottenham are hoping that they can yet convince them to do business.
