Sources: Tottenham agree to sign Isaac Allen from West Ham
Tottenham Hotspur have won the race to sign West Ham United academy starlet Isaac Allen, sources have told Football Insider.
The Lilywhites have been working hard to sign the Irons rising star in recent months and have finally agreed a deal to sign him.
Spurs view the 15-year-old as a huge talent for the future, and have fought off competition from several other clubs to secure his signature.
Allen had already emerged as one of the standout names in West Ham's academy, and also captains England at U15 level.
He is set to become the latest West Ham youngster to depart the club, with several young talents already heading elsewhere this summer.
Tottenham are the beneficiaries on this occasion, and are set to take charge of the next steps in Allen's development.
Tottenham land star of the future
Allen's early development has seen him tipped for a huge future at the top level of the game, and he is already a key figure for both club and country.
The midfielder is a central part of the England setup at his age group, and now has the chance to work alongside several other elite talents at Hotspur Way.
Spurs have paid significant attention to securing immediate reinforcements to their senior squad after last season's relegation scare.
However, that has done little to deter them from their desire to keep an eye on emerging talents for the future, and they have now moved to secure Allen.
The starlet has a huge future ahead of him, and this could prove to be a deal that pays Tottenham back significantly in the later stages of his career.
Tottenham make move to sign Emiliano Martinez
Football Insider revealed on Tuesday that Tottenham are exploring a potential move to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
The Villans have just confirmed the signing of Zion Suzuki as their new number one, and are now ready to cash in on Martinez as a result.
The Argentine has just seen a move to Juventus collapse, and Tottenham are now weighing up a move to take him to North London.
Spurs are on the verge of allowing Guglielmo Vicario to leave the club, and have now sensed a fresh opportunity to strengthen their goalkeeping department.
