Sources: Tottenham in new Randal Kolo Muani move as ‘favourites’ for deal revealed
Tottenham Hotspur are keen to bring striker Randal Kolo Muani back on another loan deal this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
PSG are looking to offload the 27-year-old, who is understood to have no long-term future in the French capital under Luis Enrique.
The Paris giants are keen to sanction a permanent exit if possible in order to balance their books, but Spurs’ “preferred option” is another loan at the moment.
Sources have indicated that despite the Lilywhites’ interest, Juventus are currently the “favourites” to sign the forward, having pushed for a deal in recent days.
The Old Lady had Kolo Muani on loan for a brief but successful stint back in 2024-25, and also tried to sign him again before he joined Tottenham last summer.
The France international managed just five goals and four assists during his time in North London, but could yet end up back there for another season.
Juventus struggling to seal Randal Kolo Muani
Juventus have been working to try and get a move for Kolo Muani over the line in recent weeks, but have been unsuccessful so far.
Their bid to bring their former loanee back to Turin has stalled somewhat of late, prompting Tottenham to build their interest once again.
PSG are hoping to land a significant fee for the former Eintracht Frankfurt man in order to boost their own transfer kitty ahead of next season, but Spurs aren’t keen on the idea of a permanent deal.
Juventus are keen to take the striker permanently, but remain some way apart from reaching an agreement to land Kolo Muani at the moment.
Luciano Spalletti’s side are firmly in the box seat to get the deal done for the forward as of right now, but the door is still not completely closed on the idea of a return to Tottenham.
Tottenham also lining up ‘huge’ Eli Junior Kroupi deal
Football Insider revealed last week that Tottenham are “willing” to splash a “huge” £85million fee on Eli Junior Kroupi this summer, but Bournemouth are holding out for even more.
The Lilywhites are eyeing an ambitious move to beat a huge array of top European sides to the 20-year-old’s signature, as they aim to continue their eye-catching summer spending.
Kroupi netted 13 goals in his debut Premier League campaign last term, a tally which came from just 21 starts for the Cherries.
He is widely regarded as one of European football’s brightest emerging talents at the moment, and that has piqued the interest of Tottenham and countless other clubs.
