Tottenham idol makes 'huge' Christian Eriksen claim after source's 'extraordinary' update
Paul Robinson has claimed it would be “extraordinary” if Tottenham re-signed Christian Eriksen this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one is adamant the 30-year-old would get into “any top-six side in the Premier League.”
Eriksen‘s short-term contract at the Brentford Community Stadium expires at the end of next month.
A recruitment source told Football Insider (23 May) that Spurs have registered their interest in the attacking midfielder.
Antonio Conte is understood to have sanctioned a move for the player he worked with at Inter Milan.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if he would welcome Eriksen back to Spurs, Robinsons said: “Eriksen is a player worth having.

“He has proven that he can still do it at the top level.
“It is just an incredible story. To think he could play for Tottenham again is extraordinary.
“There will be no shortage of takers for Eriksen. He will have his pick.
“When moments like that happen in your life everything gets put into perspective. Football will no longer be the most important thing in his life. His next move will be a life choice. He will choose where is best for him and his family.
“It is a huge, huge achievement for him to play again.
“Any club in Europe would take Eriksen on a free. For me, he gets in any top-six side in the Premier League and plays every week.”
