Tottenham insider shares chances of Nuno being sacked amid 'unrest'
There is no chance Tottenham will sack Nuno Espirito Santo after Sunday’s derby defeat to Arsenal.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham have now lost three straight games in the Premier League with the latest coming at the hands of local rivals Arsenal.
This prompted calls for Nuno’s head by some sections of Tottenham fans on social media.
Football.London reported on 20 September that there is growing unrest among Tottenham fans after recent performances, claiming that the “knives are out” for the Portuguese manager.
Nuno took over in the summer, taking over from Ryan Mason who was in interim charge after Jose Mourinho’s sacking.

Wenham claims Tottenham won’t sack Nuno for the simple reason that there is no replacement available.
“Emotions are high after losing a derby,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I backed Mourinho for a long time but it was after the defeat to Arsenal last year when I said it was time for him to go.
“I get what’s going on. Let’s be realistic, if Nuno goes, who is replacing him?
“He was what, eighth choice this summer? We tried to get Conte, Poch, Flick, Fonseca, Gattuso, Rodgers, none of them came off.
“So who do you get now? You are now going to someone who knows no one wanted the job this summer and outside of a transfer window.
“There is absolutely no chance of Nuno getting sacked after six Premier League games. We have won three of them.
“We are still in the Carabao Cup, we’re in the ECL. To anyone who wants Nuno gone, who are you bringing in? They don’t have an answer.”
