Insider tips 'spectacular' Tottenham future for bulked-up Markanday after transformation
Dilan Markanday has a big future as a striker at Tottenham after his incredible form this season.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Markanday, 20, has featured on the bench for Tottenham in the Premier League but is yet to make his senior debut.
He has been prolific in the Premier League 2 this season, bagging six goals and two assists in six games.
Wenham has lifted the lid on Markanday’s summer transformation and new position at the club.
“He was always a talented right-wing player,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“Over the summer he put on a lot of muscle, some players lose a bit of something when that happens.
“But Markanday has kept his low centre of gravity and his quick feet. He is a powerful unit. He’s now developed as a centre forward.
“We have loaned out players like Troy Parrott so there was a gap for a new striker in the Under 23s.
“He has scored some spectacular goals this season and picked up some really good numbers.
“He’s constantly delivering goals and assists. He trains with the first team a fair bit and I really want to see him given an opportunity.
“He has a big future here.”
Tottenham have several stars away on international duty over the next 14 days, presenting the chance for youngsters to participate in first-team training.
Markanday will be one of the only forwards at the club with Harry Kane away with England.
