Tottenham's Kane makes fascinating admission after hat trick v Apoel
By Russell Edge
Tottenham striker Harry Kane has revealed that the match balls he has received for scoring a hat trick are at house in bags and in cupboards.
The England forward was able to add to his collection after his three goals against Apoel Nicosia in the Champions League on Tuesday helped secure a 3-0 win and continue the side’s perfect start to their European campaign.
It was the ninth hat trick of his Tottenham career and his sixth in 2017 alone, but he has admitted that he has yet to find somewhere to display the balls in his house, with a special room planned to display his accolades.
He told football news website football.london: “At the moment they’re at home, I’m hoping to build a room for them, the trophies and balls.
“It isn’t built yet but hopefully it will be soon. At the moment they’re just in the bags, in the cupboards.”

When told about England team mate’s Wayne Rooney’s room, which holds the Everton attacker’s medals, caps and trophies, Kane admitted he had not seen it but would be in touch for pointers.
While yet to win any silverware with Tottenham, Kane will have plenty to include in his display, including his two successive Premier League golden boot awards.
He has scored over 20 league goals in each of the last three seasons, with 108 goals coming in 173 appearances across all competitions for Spurs since breaking into the first team.
He also has 21 caps for England, and has shown the same impressive goal scoring form for the Three Lions with 10 goals.
In other Tottenham news, Ally McCoist has had his say on whether he would pick Kane ahead of his Premier League rivals.
