Agbonlahor blasts 'lying' Kane after 'bullying' at Tottenham
Harry Kane was “lying” when he claimed his recent absence from Tottenham training was authorised.
So says ex-Premier League hitman Gabby Agbonlahor, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the wantaway 28-year-old striker.
Sky Sports reporter Paul Gilmour tweeted on 2nd August that Kane had been a no-show to training that morning.
The striker has since claimed via Twitter on 6th August that he “would never” miss training and that he would return imminently “as planned”.
Nuno Espirito Santo told Sky Sports on 9th August that Kane will be an “option” for Spurs in their season opener against Man City on Saturday.
The manager is understood to have held talks with the England skipper that same day.

But Agbonlahor doubts the veracity of Kane’s training claim.
“I feel sorry for Harry Kane,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“I think he’s been advised badly, He’s tried to bully his way into a move with an owner who isn’t going to accept that.
“He has tried to lie in the media and say that it was planned for him to have extra time off, but Spurs would have said that straight away if that was true.
“So he is lying there, Harry Kane. I just think he was always gonna play this first game. When the club is paying your wages, you’ve got to play.
“So I think it’s very naive from him and I totally think he’ll be playing for Spurs next season.
“He’ll have to get his head around it but I’m sure Spurs fans will forgive him because he’s their best ever player.
“But he needs to be scoring in that first game to get fans back onside.”
