Tottenham tipped to swoop for Man United star as source drops Kane swap talks update
Tottenham “hold all the cards” in negotiations with Manchester United over a potential swap deal involving Harry Kane, according to Alan Hutton.
The former Spurs defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the Lilywhites would demand top stars in exchange for the 27-year-old.
As revealed by Football Insider on Saturday (July 9th), Tottenham have softened their stance on demanding £150million in cash for the striker in discussions with United.
A United source has told this site Spurs have asked for £100million plus two first-team stars in part-exchange.
Hutton admitted Daniel Levy would not let Kane leave on the cheap.

He suggested Spurs would demand United’s top talents in negotiations.
Hutton told Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge: “It really depends on what players we’re talking about.
“That’s what it all comes down to. If it’s fringe players that are nowhere near the Man United or Man City team, it’s not really going to work.
“If we’re talking about a high-calibre player with £100million, then that could work, potentially. It’s all going to come down to the players.
“Is Nuno going to get a piece of paper with names that are available to choose from? We’ll have to see how it works out.
“Harry Kane is the prized asset. He’s their talisman, he’s the leader for them. Daniel Levy, under no circumstances, is going to let him go on the cheap. No way.
“It’s all going to be in Tottenham’s favour. They’ve got him tied down to a long contract so they hold all the cards.
“They can do what they want. They can ask for what they want.”
