Tottenham told to seal 'big-money' Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg deal after source's reveal - pundit
Kevin Campbell has insisted Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has “outplayed” his current Tottenham contract with a new big-money deal in the works.
The former Arsenal striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the 27-year-old is perfectly suited to the style implemented by Antonio Conte.
This site revealed on 12 November that Tottenham are opening talks on a bumper new deal for Hojbjerg – who is regarded as “instrumental” by Conte.
His current deal, which runs until the summer of 2025, is understood to be worth £95,000-a-week.
It is expected that Hojbjerg will climb into the second bracket of earners at Spurs if a deal can be struck – behind the likes of Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.
The Denmark international has started all but one of Tottenham’s 15 Premier League games this term – scoring three goals and notching two assists.

Campbell claimed Hojbjerg is the “unsung hero” for the Lilywhites at present.
He told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “I think Hojbjerg is so important to what Tottenham do.
“He’s the unsung hero in that midfield. A lot of the work and the protection he gives, it goes unnoticed.
“He’s chipped in with goals as well.
“He is definitely Conte’s type of player, and he’s outplaying his current contract.
“He’s definitely due that big-money contract because he’s proven himself to be one of the first names on the team sheet.”
Tottenham return to Premier League action against Brentford on Boxing Day.
Hojbjerg will be in action for Denmark in this month’s World Cup in Qatar.
