Tottenham told to swap Kane with 'brilliant' Man City player after player-exchange confirmation - pundit
Paul Robinson has urged Tottenham to “listen to any offers” of a swap deal as Manchester City push to sign Harry Kane.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs shot-stopper insisted City’s “first 13 or 14” squad members would improve the Lilywhites’ starting XI.
The Daily Mail reported on Sunday (8th August) that City are willing to offer Bernardo Silva to Spurs in order to land Kane.
The newspaper also claims that Tottenham want a fee of around £150million for Kane, with City not willing to spend more than £130million.
As quoted by the Telegraph’s James Ducker, Pep Guardiola has confirmed Silva wants to leave City this summer.
Robinson insisted Spurs should consider a swap deal involving the Portuguese winger.

However, he did raise concerns over the wage costs involved in the signing.
He told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “The only problem is that most of those players would break the wage structure at Spurs.
“Also, would they want to play in the Europa Conference League?
“He’s [Bernardo Silva] a very good player. He would fit brillliantly into that Spurs midfield.
“He’s a very creative player with a cutting edge. With Kane going, that leaves a void for someone who has that creativity.
“I’d listen to offers with any player that Manchester City are willing to include in the deal for Kane. Those players would strengthen that Spurs side.
“There’s not many players from the first 13 or 14 in Man City’s squad that wouldn’t get into Spurs’ team.
