Everton told to accept '£60m' Tottenham offer for Anthony Gordon - 'take it', says pundit
Paul Robinson has told Tottenham to think twice before making a concrete move for Everton winger Anthony Gordon in January.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one said the 21-year-old is not proven at the top level and is not worth £60million.
Gordon was of interest to Spurs, Chelsea and Newcastle United in the summer window but remained at Everton beyond the transfer deadline.
According to The Times (8 November), Tottenham remain interested in the winger and are considering a January move.
Antonio Conte is keen to bolster his squad in the mid-season window with a wide forward on his wishlist.
Gordon’s contract at Goodison Park runs until the end of June 2025.

When asked by Football Insider if Gordon would be a welcome addition at Spurs in January, Robinson said: “I’m not sure.
“If we are talking about £60million again, I think that is a lot of money.
“He still has a lot to prove for me. I do not think he is the finished article by a long way.
“If Everton get £60m for him they should take it. He is yet to convince at the top level. He is a good player but is he a £60m player? I think he is a young player who is still proving himself.
“Spurs should not go spending £60million on him, in my opinion.”
