Tottenham will struggle to sell Ndombele after source's update - pundit
Paul Robinson fears Tottenham will struggle to sell Tanguy Ndombele before the transfer window closes.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one expects the 24-year-old’s high wages to be a stumbling block in a potential exit.
This site revealed last week (August 19th) that the centre-midfielder has informed club chiefs he wants to leave the club and the latest from a Tottenham source today is he is very keen to leave by Tuesday’s cut-off.
Ndombele joined Spurs in a club-record £63million deal in July 2019 and put pen to paper on a contract which runs until the summer of 2025.
However, the France international has been inconsistent during his time in north London and is yet to make a matchday squad this season.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his assessment of Ndombele’s future, Robinson said: “There is obviously an issue off the field.

“Something is not right. Yes, you can fall out with a manager but to fall out with three consecutive managers just isn’t right.
“He has shown in glimpses what a special player he is but he has not done it consistently.
“He’ll be one of the highest earners at the club as well, there is no doubt about that. It will not be easy to get him out.
“It will be a difficult transfer to put together. Daniel will want the £63million back and Ndombele will not want to take a pay cut at his next club.
“It’s a difficult situation for all parties right now. It needs to be sorted though.”
