Tottenham ace Harry Winks is confident his side can get a result, ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League showdown with holders Real Madrid at Wembley.
The 21-year-old played a key role in midfield for Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture a fortnight ago.
The result from the Bernabeu leaves Spurs and Madrid tied at the top of Group H with identical records, a victory would put the London side in pole position to top the group.
“We’re going to go into the game expecting of ourselves that we can do it and we’re looking forward to it,” said Winks, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
“We got a good result against them last time, so hopefully we can get another one and finish off the group in a strong way,” added the England international.

Spurs have suffered a dip in form recently, losing their last two matches against Manchester United in the Premier League and West Ham in the League Cup.
They are going well in the Champions League this season though and are unbeaten in their three matches so far, including a 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
The last time they hosted the Champions League winners was in November 2010 when Harry Redknapp’s side beat Inter Milan 3-1 at White Hart Lane.
Winks remembers watching on that night as a 14-year-old fan and is hoping to use it as motivation for Wednesday’s clash with the 12-time winners.
“It was a great night, a great game to watch as a Spurs fan, so fingers crossed we can get the same sort of result.”
In the Spurs side that night was current Madrid star Gareth Bale, but the forward is likely to miss the match, despite returning to training yesterday.
In other Tottenham news, Spurs are reportedly planning a swoop for this 22-year-old in January.
