David Moyes plans to accept Leicester City manager offer - Insider
David Moyes would be open to replacing Steve Cooper following his dismissal at Leicester City should they offer him the role.
This is according to former scout Mick Brown, who worked closely with Moyes during his time at West Ham and remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that he is keen to return to work in the Premier League.
Despite reservations surrounding Leicester's current situation, it is said managers out of work can rarely afford to be picky about their next destination.
Football Insider revealed on that Cooper was dismissed following an owner-led dressing room inquest in which the players were "very critical" of the boss.
Meanwhile, he failed to gain the backing of his players at the King Power and questions were asked about his tactics and methods as early as September.
This, Brown insists, will be a red flag for any potential managers, but he then explained that no job opening comes without its issues due to the nature of the role.

Moyes has been out of work since leaving West Ham in June and has been frequently linked with a return to management amid pressure on several Premier League bosses.
Brown, who has a wealth of experience working closely with managers including Moyes, Sir Alex Ferguson and Ron Atkinson after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, insisted that the Foxes will consider Moyes as an option.
"It's one he'd be open to," he told Football Insider.
"When you're out of the game, jobs come up, but they're never going to be the perfect job.
"There are always issues at these clubs, that's why the previous manager has been sacked.
"You're always going into a job because there's been a problem there, not because everything's going smoothly and everybody's happy.
"The issues with the players will no doubt be a bit of a red flag.
"When players revolt against a manager as they seemingly did, they have to show up and prove that they can perform once he's gone.
"But in terms of any affect on the incoming manager, it might be a concern but it won't be detrimental."
