Juventus are preparing to offer two of their first-team stars in part exchange for Man City striker Gabriel Jesus, Football Insider can reveal.

The Serie A giants have made the Brazilian striker, 23, one of their top targets when the transfer window opens but cannot afford to sign him outright due to the crippling financial impact of the coronavirus.

An Italian source has told Football Insider that Juventus are planning to structure a player-plus-cash bid for Jesus.

The European giants are ready to offer Douglas Costa or Miralem Pjanic in a part-exchange swap deal for Jesus.

Winger Costa, 29, has made 18 appearances for the Turin club this season but has been on the fringes of the starting XI.

Central midfielder Pjanic, 30, has been a key member of the side in their title defence, with 20 Serie A starts and seven Champions League starts among 32 appearances in all competitions.

It remains to be seen whether City would have any interest in either of Juve's two long-standing performers.

Or, whether the Premier League champions would be interested in cashing in on Jesus after another impressive campaign.

The 39-times Brazil international has made 38 appearances for his club in all competitions this season, scoring 18 goals and supplying nine assists.

Jesus has scored 63 goals in 139 matches for City, as well as supplied 25 assists, since signing from Palmeiras in January 2017.
