Tottenham are offering Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik a £90,000-a-week contract and £5million signing-on fee, Football Insider understands.

The London giants are working on a deal to sign the Poland international among multiple forward targets in the final weeks of the window.

A Tottenham source has told Football Insider that Milik, 26, is one of their top targets and talks are advancing on a potential deal.

Spurs have discussed handing the front man a five-year deal worth £23m in total, supplemented by a £5m signing-on fee.

But the Londoners may look to sign him in January on a pre-contract agreement rather than pay the £30m fee Napoli are seeking in the current window.

The Serie A giants face the prospect of losing the striker for nothing next summer as he has entered the final year of his contract and has snubbed offers of an extension.

Tottenham have a restricted budget for signings and they are pursuing deals that would mean a limited initial outlay.

Sky Sports Italy reported on Friday that Spurs have lodged an ambitious £46million loan-to-buy bid for Belotti that was rejected by Torino.

The potential big spend on a front man will be warmly welcomed by supporters who have had to get used to Harry Kane's regular and lengthy injury absences in recent seasons.

Milik is a 51-times Poland international who has scored 48 times from 122 matches during his four years at Napoli.

The former Ajax striker netted 14 goals from 35 matches in all competitions last season, including 11 from 26 league games.
