Man United are the only viable option for Declan Rice this summer if he chooses to leave West Ham, according to Paul Robinson.

The former Premier League goalkeeper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested the Hammers keep hold of the 23-year-old as his value will not diminish much in 12 months.

The Daily Mail have claimed (22 March) that the Irons have slapped a £150million price tag on their prized asset ahead of the summer.

West Ham

Rice's current contract at the London Stadium expires at the end of June 2024 but the club hold a 12-month extension clause.

According to the Evening Standard's Jack Rosser (24 March), Man United have "a strong interest" in the centre-midfielder.

When asked by Football Insider's Dylan Childs for his assessment of Rice's future, Robinson said: "The Chelsea move is off the table.

"Where else does he go? I do not see him going to Man City. They have Rodri in that area.

"I can only see him going to Manchester United. I expect them to be looking at Rice and Kalvin Phillips. Chelsea was the move he wanted though.

"Do West Ham need to sell him this summer? He'll have two years left on his contract but I do not think his value alters too much in 12 months.

"I'd keep him if I was West Ham. If he doesn't want to sign a new deal, keep him and cash in next year."
