Rangers are ready to listen to offers for on-loan forward Sam Lammers this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that all signs now point to Lammers, 26, departing Ibrox permanently in the off-season.

He is currently on loan at Dutch side Utrecht until the end of the 2023-24 campaign and scored the winner as they beat NEC Nijmegen on Sunday (17 March).

The two-footed attacker was brought to Rangers by former manager Michael Beale last summer (2023) and cost a reported £3.5million.

But after a poor start to life in Glasgow, Lammers was sent out on loan to the Eredivisie by Philippe Clement in one of his first acts in the transfer window at Ibrox.

Rangers boss Clement won't change his mind on Lammers - he's set to be sold

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Clement is unlikely to change his mind on the forward's future ahead of the summer window.

He had managed just two goals and two assists in his first 31 appearances across all competitions in Scotland.

The 6ft 3in ace has fared better back in the Netherlands with Utrecht, notching three goals and three assists in 10 appearances since sealing a loan arrival.

Lammers is under contract at Rangers until May 2027 after joining from Atalanta last summer (2023).

Wolves youngster Fabio Silva arrived at Ibrox on loan in January to replace the 26-year-old and has already hit four goals.
