Rangers will sell Alfredo Morelos in the summer if they get another mega-money offer, according to a report.

The Daily Record claim in an extended update on the Glasgow giants' transfer business that the club are unlikely to repeat the pattern of the winter window when they snubbed a series of huge bids for the Colombian striker.

It is said that Rangers will take a different stance in the forthcoming window and cash in on their prize asset if "another big-money bid" is lodged.

It was widely reported that Chinese club Beijing Renhe tabled a series of offers in January and February culminating in one of £11million up front.

Morelos subsequently signed a new deal on 9 March that runs until the summer of 2021.

Football Insider verdict:

Rangers fans are split on Morelos between those who believe he has the heart of a lion and the potential to be a brilliant SPL centre-forward and those who insist he is below par, misses too many chances and the club wasted the chance to earn a massive fee for him during the winter window. Given his age - he turns 22 in June - and that this is his first season in Scotland, his tally of 17 goals from 37 matches is pretty impressive. Selling him to the highest bidder in the summer is one thing, replacing him is another entirely.
