Brendan Galloway has agreed personal terms with Luton Town as he closes in on a permanent exit from Everton, Football Insider has learned.

The wide defender, 23, has been offered a long-term contract with the Championship club as he prepares to be reunited with their manager Graeme Jones.

An Everton source has told Football Insider that the left-sided ace is now finalising the move as he prepares to end his five-year association at Goodison Park.

It will see him be reunited with Jones, who was on Roberto Martinez's coaching staff when the Merseysiders signed him from MK Dons as a teenager.

Galloway impressed at left-back during an extended run in the side in 2015 when Leighton Baines was out injured but made the last of his 21 first-team appearances in 2016.

The England Under-21 international, who can also play in wide midfield, has subsequently had spells on loan at West Brom and Sunderland, but neither were especially successful.

Jones and Luton director of football Mick Hartford will now hope to reignite the career of the Harare-born player, who did not make a single senior appearance last season.
