An unnamed Premier League club have submitted an offer for Strasbourg striker Habib Diallo, sources have told Football Insider.

The striker, 27, is a target for multiple top-tier English clubs this summer after plundering 20 Ligue 1 goals this season.

Brentford are believed to be pushing hard to sign Diallo as they search for a replacement for the banned Ivan Toney.

Crystal Palace have also kept tabs on the frontman with the club planning to sign a centre-forward in the forthcoming window.

Representatives from West Ham, Brighton, Brentford and Fulham have also watched the Senegal international in action this season.

Brentford are keen to sign Diallo as they search for a replacement for Toney after he was slapped with an eight-month ban by the FA for his gambling breaches last week - meaning he can't play for the Bees until January 2024.
