Tottenham are to offer Oliver Skipp a new contract as they also also look to tie Eric Dier to a new deal, Football Insider has learned.

The Premier League club want to tie the duo the long-term agreements this summer.

A Tottenham source has told Football Insider that the club are keen to secure Skipp to at least a four-year deal.

Skipp's current agreement expires in the summer of 2021.

Football Insider revealed in March the club's intention of tying their academy product to a new long-term deal.

He is regarded as one of the club's three outstanding home-grown stars along with defender Japhet Tanganga and striker Troy Parrott.

Mourinho revealed earlier this week the club are working to keep hold of new first choice centre-back Dier, who is also out of contract in 12 months.

Skipp signed his current deal in August 2018 but FA rules for 17-year-olds mean it could only only run for three years.

Jose Mourinho is a big admirer of Skipp and has named him in all three of his matchday squads since the restart.

The Portugese raved about Skipp's "phenomenal" performance after his 120-minute performance in the FA Cup defeat to Norwich City before the lockdown.

Skipp has graduated from the youth ranks to make 21 senior appearances for the club, nine of which have come this season.
