Aston Villa are willing to listen to offers for Leon Bailey as they look to raise cash for another forward signing, sources have told Football Insider.

The Midlands giants recently completed the club-record capture of Moussa Diaby and are keen to sign another attacker before the window shuts.

Bailey’s future is up in the air with Saudi Pro League outfit Al Nassr showing an interest in him.

Villa would not discourage a move from the big-spending Middle East team, who have the funds to offer the Jamaica international what sources say is a "huge" contract as well as meet the Premier League club's £20million-plus asking price.

The 25-year-old is set to slip down the pecking order following Diaby's arrival and is not seen by Unai Emery as a regular starter in the new season.

Bailey's current contract at Villa Park runs until 2025 after joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2021, when Dean Smith as at the helm, for a reported fee of £30m.

The attacker has made just 54 appearances for the Premier League side since his arrival two years ago and netted six goals and offered up six assists in those outings.

Bailey was in the starting lineup for 26 top flight games last term but played the full 90 minutes in just five of those outings.

He found the back of the net five times across all competitions in the 2022-23 campaign and set up four goals in those outings.
