Leeds United have no plans to reignite their previous Harry Wilson interest this summer, Football Insider understands.

The Whites have been long-term admirers of the Liverpool 24-year-old and tried to sign him in both 2018 and 2019.

However, a recruitment source has told Football Insider Leeds have moved on from the left-sided attacker and are instead targeting other attacking options.

It is understood Liverpool will listen to offers for Wilson this summer and £15million will seal a deal.

He spent the 2020/21 campaign at Cardiff City, having previously had temporary spells with Hull, Derby and Bournemouth.

Marcelo Bielsa's interest in Wilson stretches back to when the Argentine boss arrived at Elland Road in 2018.

Leeds tried to sign the winger on loan that summer and again 12 months later, but were beaten by Derby and Bournemouth respectively.

The Whites registered interest last year and, as revealed by Football Insider, were joined by Southampton in the race for his capture.

The Wales international eventually joined Cardiff in the Championship.

He scored seven goals and contributed 12 assists in 37 league games for the Bluebirds.

His contract at Anfield is set to expire in 2023 but the Reds are open to offers for a permanent transfer.

While Leeds will not pursue a deal for Wilson, they are still in the market for another wide forward.

The Whites have already been told Ryan Kent - another long-time target - will not be leaving Rangers this summer.

Bielsa currently has Raphinha, Helder Costa and Ian Poveda as his senior winger options.

However, the Whites are expected to trigger the £10million purchase clause in Jack Harrison's loan terms.
