Sources: Juventus plot raid for Tottenham star Ndombele as Conte makes up mind on accepting offer
Juventus are interested in signing Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele ahead of the January window, Football Insider understands.
The Spurs record signing's future is up in the air once again going into next months' transfer opening.
A Tottenham source has told Football Insider the club are aware of interest in Ndombele from Juventus, the former club of manager Antonio Conte and managing director Fabio Paratici.
Conte has already called out Ndombele publicly and questioned if he has the work-rate and team ethic to fit into his side.
Football Insider revealed on 25 November that Conte has gone even further behind the scenes and made it clear the club should listen to offers for the midfielder in January.
That stance has not changed in the intervening period and the manager wants Ndombele out if a deal can be done.
The manager does not believe the France international, 24, is capable of changing his ways and wants to bring in players who can follow his specific instructions.
Tottenham could potentially sell Ndombele in January on a permanent deal but a loan, or a loan-to-buy, are more realistic options.
The player himself is likely to be attracted by the possibility of a move to an elite club on the Continent.
Ndombele tried to leave Tottenham in each of the last three summers, including, remarkably, six weeks after he joined the club in 2019.
Football Insider revealed on 16 August that the midfielder had told club chiefs he wanted to quit Spurs in the final fortnight of the summer window.
The France international has shown only glimpses of his talent since joining from Lyon in 2019 for £55m rising to £65m with add-ons and is under his fifth Spurs manager, including the caretaker Ryan Mason.
During Conte's reign, he has had only five minutes of Premier League action and his only start has come in the humiliating Europa Conference defeat to Mura.
