Man United will make a decision on Amad Diallo's future in the "next few weeks", sources have told Football Insider.

The 20-year-old has already returned to training at Carrington ahead of the Red Devils' first pre-season friendly against Leeds on Wednesday (12 July).

Erik ten Hag will have the final say on whether Diallo will be part of the Man United squad for the 2023-24 campaign - or whether he goes out on yet another loan.

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that the youngster will likely find it "very hard" to break into the plans of the Dutchman - and the Red Devils are expected to listen to loan offers once again.

Mason Mount has already signed to bolster the club's attacking options, while Alejandro Garnacho has signed a new contract and is ready for the next step in his development.

Diallo already has several proposals on the table with clubs ready to help him continue his football education away from Man United.

He spent last season at Sunderland, and it is believed the Black Cats would love to bring him back to the Stadium of Light once again.

The Ivory Coast international managed 14 goals and four assists in 43 appearances across all competitions for the north-east side as they were beaten in the playoff semi-final by Luton.

Diallo, who joined Man United for a reported potential fee of £37million in 2021, is under contract at Old Trafford until June 2025.
