Tottenham have set their sights on signing two new goalkeepers this summer, Football Insider understands.

The Londoners' recruitment team are in the market for a potential new number one as well as a less established shot-stopper who can provide quality back-up.

A Spurs source has told Football Insider the club are planning for the possible departure of Hugo Lloris, who enters the final 12 months of his contract at the end of the season.

The Argentina international joined Spanish club Elche on loan at the end of the January window after losing his number two spot to Joe Hart at the start of the season.

Like Lloris, Gazzaniga will be in the final year of his deal in the next window, which is also the same for Hart.

Nevertheless, the Englishman has settled well at Tottenham and made his 10th appearance of the campaign in Thursday's comfortable 4-0 Europa League win.

Lloris' situation is the most intriguing at Spurs given his status as club captain and virtual untouchable for a decade.

He turned 34 last December and has been on a subtle but steady decline in recent seasons.

Tottenham have been linked with a number of new number ones including Man United's Dean Henderson and Burnley's Nicky Pope.
