Last week has been a very hard week for me, last Wednesday my grandma passed away 😔, she was like a second mother for me, Saturday’s win was for her… and THANKS to all the fans for the support you showed, it was too much needed for me after some sad days. Football Insider verdict:
Newcastle fans will love this message from Perez. It shows real heart to put in a 90-minute shift after losing the person who he said was like a second mother to him. It shows how Rafa Benitez has galvanised the squad, despite all the off-the-pitch troubles at St James’ Park. He might not gave been able to get the players he wanted in the summer, but the ones he does have are committed to the cause, and that’s all the Newcastle fans can ask for.
