Victor Wanyama shared his excitement on Twitter ahead of Tottenham’s meeting against Southampton on Wednesday evening.
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder starred for the south coast side for three years between 2013 and 2016.
However, he made the decision to rejoin manager Mauricio Pochettino in the summer for a relatively little £11million fee with his contract nearing it’s expiration.
But, the Kenya international still holds fond memories of his time at Southampton and he stated that he was looking forward to seeing everyone again.
I am really excited to return to St. Mary's tomorrow. Had a great 3 years at the club and I am looking forward to seeing everyone again.

He has now played in 23 encounters for Tottenham in all competitions this season and he has already scored two goals.
The combative midfielder is known more for his ability to shield the defence and he has helped to improve an already strong defensive unit in north London.
Spurs have conceded just 12 goals in their 17 matches this season, leaving them with the second best defence in the league behind leaders Chelsea.
They will face a Southampton side on Wednesday, who also boast a strong defence and currently occupy eighth.
