Wayne Bridge believes Chelsea should make Tottenham’s Dele Alli their top transfer target in the summer to finally replace Frank Lampard.
Alli, 20, has shone for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season, scoring an impressive 17 goals in all competitions as well as supplying a further nine assists for the north London giants.
Speaking to gambling company BetStars, former Chelsea and West Ham left-back Bridge has urged Antonio Conte to sign Alli in the summer ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.
“I think Chelsea should sign Dele Alli,” Bridge said. “I think they miss Frank Lampard, a goalscoring midfielder and I think Alli is the player to fill those boots.”
Alli has proved crucial for Spurs despite his young age this season, as well as becoming a regular in Gareth Southgate’s England side with 17 caps already to his name.

Chelsea do lack a goalscoring midfielder, with Cesc Fabregas leading the charts from midfield with only six goals to his name this season.
It remains to be seen if Conte will look to sign the former MK Dons ace in the summer, after former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp claimed Alli is worth a huge £100million.
Spurs’ number 20 would be likely to command a huge transfer fee, with his White Hart Lane contract set to keep him in the capital until the summer of 2022.
Alli is set to come up against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final later this month at Wembley, a the London rivals go head to head for a place in the final of the competition.
In other Tottenham news, Spurs chiefs have reportedly lined-up a three-year deal for this Euro ace if Pochettino leaves.
